Lancing and Sompting Food Banks provide food bags tailored to your needs to last 3-4 days. Bags are given to those referred by our partners in the community, you can also self-refer and call us directly or drop-in for a chat.

We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why we provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people in crisis.

If you are in need or struggling for food, or even just wanting to come down for a chat, our food bank is open every Tuesday between 10am and 12 noon. Drop-in or we can arrange a delivery if preferable. Come and visit us and pop in to the café next door for a hot drink and some breakfast, and lots of friendly faces to chat with for those feeling particularly isolated.
